get livarp-rescue on the dedicated page
livarp-rescue is distributed in ISO format (~624Mo), ready to put on a CD or used on a USBkey with unetbootin

utilisation

livarp-rescue starts with the syslinux menu. the default entry launches the 486 kernel (for old computers). choose the 'live 686' entry if your processor is modern (PIV or after).

livarp-rescue comes with 2 window-managers: a cli one (dvtm) and a gui one (dwm-6.1)

if you stay in tty, livarp launches dvtm after the cli-keyboard-selector. [h], [k] and [t] let you acces to the Help, Keys or Tools files.

if you lanch Xserver, dwm-6.1 starts after the gui-keyboard-selector

  • menu is available on the top-left corner of your screen and is handled by fbpanel
  • tablaunch is used as dock on bottom left of your screen
  • livarp tools list is available from the menu entry 'livarp tools list' or from the 'tools' entry of the dock.
